Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's net worths amid rumors they didn't sign a prenup
Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck in Los Angeles on August 20, 2024, which was also the second anniversary of their opulent Georgia wedding ceremony.
According to court documents acquired by Page Six, the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" singer filed pro se, which means she did not hire an attorney. She gave the date of separation as April 26, 2024.

Lopez and the "Gone Girl" actor allegedly did not sign a prenup.
Without a premarital agreement, any income or property acquired during the marriage can be considered "community property," which means that both couples are equal owners of property, income, or debt regardless of who purchased or earned it.
Celebrity Net Worth reports that Affleck's net worth is $150 million.
During his two-year marriage to Lopez, he appeared in several successful films such as "The Flash," "Air," "The Instigators," "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom," and "Hypnotic."
The father of three also recently completed filming on "The Accountant 2," which will be released in April 2025.
The former pair also collaborated on the upcoming film, "Unstoppable." Affleck co-produced the project with BFF Matt Damon, and the "Let's Get Loud" singer starred in the drama.
The "Good Will Hunting" actor also has producer credits on various projects, some of which have already been released and others are in progress.
In 2023, Affleck secured a multi-million dollar contract with Dunkin' Donuts. The relationship also included a donation to his non-profit organization, the Eastern Congo Initiative.
Celebrity Net Worth reports that Lopez's net worth exceeds $400 million.
Since marrying Affleck in July 2022, the pop singer has appeared in several films of her own, including "Atlas," "Mother," and "Shotgun Wedding."
The mother of two also launched the $20 million self-funded project, "This Is Me… Now: A Love Story," which documented her and Affleck's revived romance and accompanied her ninth studio album "This Is Me…Now." (The album flopped, peaking at number 38 on the Billboard 200.)
Lopez also launched her cocktail brand, Delola, in April 2023. In a press release, the two-time Grammy nominee stated that she created the drink brand "to launch unique, mixology-level ready-to-enjoy cocktails designed for elegant, effortless entertaining as part of a thoughtful lifestyle."
Because the "Gigli" co-stars did not have a prenuptial agreement, anything purchased or earned during their marriage is deemed "community property."
In May 2023, Affleck and Lopez bought a $60 million Beverly Hills house. A month before filing for divorce, the "I'm Real" singer and the "Deep Water" actor listed their home for $68 million.
It's unclear if the now-exes intend to split the money evenly after the house is sold.
Affleck has already moved out of the house and purchased a $20 million bachelor pad in Pacific Palisades, Calif., while Lopez has been sighted looking at million-dollar homes on several occasions.
In July 2024, the Blast reported that Lopez was preparing to fight for half of Affleck's $150 million fortune, alleging she covered many bills throughout their marriage while the actor frequently "grumbled about spending money."
That same month, insiders told Radar Online that Lopez thought the movie producer "mooched" her fortune during their relationship.
"One of the little-known mysteries is that Jennifer paid for much of their married costs, and she now believes he owes her. She is counting up all of the private plane expenditures she charges to her credit card, as well as the hotels and meals, clothes, coffee runs, and gas. She paid for the high expense of living. She also paid for the most of the $60 million mansion they purchased, according to the insider.
"Ben took so much money out of her, at least that's what she's saying."
Lopez waived spousal support in her divorce file and asked the court not to award it to Affleck either.
